Firsthand is looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer to take ownership of our data ecosystem. In this role, you will be responsible for the data platform and will partner closely with teams across the company to turn data into insights.

What You'll Do

Own the data platform and data pipelines, ensuring data is accurate, reliable, and accessible.
Partner with product, engineering, and business teams to understand data needs and deliver insights.
Build and maintain scalable data models and dashboards to support decision-making.
Establish and promote data governance and best practices across the organization.

What We're Looking For

5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a related field.
Expertise in SQL and experience with modern data stack tools (e.g., dbt, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing concepts.
Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and data infrastructure.

Nice to Have

Experience with Python for data processing and automation.
Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Mode).
Experience in a startup or fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
