Altisource is looking for a Senior Analyst to oversee the property preservation process for REO properties under reverse mortgages. You will ensure properties are secured, maintained, and documented for a smooth transition to sale.
What You'll Do
- Manage the REO property preservation process for reverse mortgages, following all company procedures and legal guidelines.
- Coordinate and oversee timely completion of property inspections to identify any safety hazards or maintenance needs.
- Secure vacant properties to prevent unauthorized access and vandalism.
- Oversee property clean-out and debris removal.
- Manage lawn maintenance, including grass cutting and landscaping, to maintain curb appeal and prevent code violations.
- Coordinate winterization services to protect vacant properties from weather damage during cold seasons.
- Ensure completion of other life safety and preservation measures as needed (e.g., board-up services, plumbing shut-off).
- Track and document all preservation activities for each property.
- Collaborate with asset managers and other departments to ensure a smooth transition when properties are ready for listing and sale.
- Maintain accurate and complete records for all REO properties under your purview.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in property preservation, REO management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of reverse mortgage foreclosure timelines and procedures.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills to work effectively with vendors, contractors, and internal departments.
- Proactive and detail-oriented with a focus on timely completion of tasks.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in PPW and Resnet applications.
