Wealthsimple is hiring a Senior Analyst to join our Investment Research team. In this permanent, full-time role, you will conduct rigorous analysis to inform and support our investment strategies.
What You'll Do
- Produce in-depth, high-quality investment research reports and models
- Analyze financial markets, sectors, and individual securities
- Develop and maintain investment theses based on quantitative and qualitative data
- Collaborate with portfolio managers and other analysts to drive investment decisions
- Communicate research findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional experience in investment research, equity analysis, or a related financial role
- Proven expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and financial statement analysis
- Strong understanding of capital markets and macroeconomic factors
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional designation such as CFA or demonstrated progress towards one
