Simple Software Solutions Group, Inc. is hiring a Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis to provide high-level financial insights and support strategic decision-making. This role is responsible for analyzing complex financial data, overseeing general ledger activities, and preparing reports for internal and external stakeholders.
What You'll Do
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis and provide actionable insights for business strategy development.
- Manage, review, and reconcile general ledger activity and investment accounting to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare financial, operational, and board reports tailored to internal and external stakeholder needs.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and profit-and-loss analysis through data aggregation, variance analysis, and modeling.
- Evaluate and enhance finance policies, procedures, and control environments to align with best practices.
- Execute financial system implementations and enhancements, including building reports in NetSuite.
- Serve as liaison with auditors, tax accountants, and consultants for finance projects and regulatory reporting.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to colleagues on financial data analysis and reporting.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 5–6 years of relevant experience in financial planning, analysis, or accounting.
- Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and non-profit accounting practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data sets and communicate insights effectively.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience preparing financial models, reports, and analyses to support executive decision-making.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
