What You'll Do
Support the Fabrication business unit by developing financial forecasts and Estimates at Completion (EACs) for aircraft component production. You'll establish and maintain cost and performance baselines, conduct variance analysis, and report on financial trends to management. Gather and interpret data from multiple systems to generate performance insights and support decision-making.
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance teams to assess the financial impact of manufacturing changes. Develop business cases for new processes, equipment, or part designs. Contribute to process improvements across financial operations and respond to ad-hoc requests from leadership. You'll also assist in compliance efforts, including policy development, tool deployment, and training.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of experience in data analysis, with proven ability to synthesize information and deliver actionable insights
- At least three years in budgeting and financial forecasting roles
- Three or more years working within cross-functional or business unit finance teams
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related discipline
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Legal authorization to work in Canada
- Eligibility to access US export-controlled data and handle controlled goods without risk
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with SAP systems
- CPA certification or active enrollment in the program
- Experience resolving financial system discrepancies
- Adaptability in environments with evolving project scopes and business priorities
