The Facilities Process Improvement Data Analyst plays a key role in enhancing operational efficiency across multiple manufacturing sites. You will focus on analyzing MRO spare parts usage and costs, identifying opportunities to reduce inventory and eliminate waste, and ensuring data accuracy within enterprise systems. Your work will directly support cost control, inventory optimization, and continuous improvement goals within Facilities and Maintenance operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and report on high-cost and high-usage MRO components to support inventory reduction strategies.
- Conduct regular reviews of reorder points and support initiatives to reduce obsolete stock and streamline part numbering.
- Generate spend analysis reports across GL accounts on recurring schedules to inform budgeting and forecasting.
- Develop and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and trend reports to track performance and guide leadership decisions.
- Improve data integrity in ERP systems by identifying and resolving duplicate entries, incorrect records, and setup inconsistencies.
- Automate routine processes such as cycle counts, chemical tracking, and data validation using Excel and ERP tools.
- Update and maintain documentation for System21, spare parts standards, and operational workflows.
- Enhance search efficiency and standardize labeling and part setup practices across sites.
- Coordinate contractor activities and scheduling in support of preventive maintenance programs.
- Manage Right-to-Know training records and assist in scheduling compliance sessions.
- Support tooling data management, including regrind coordination and reporting across locations.
- Provide analytical support for capital projects, including vendor data setup and documentation formatting.
- Prepare summaries, presentations, and reports for leadership and operational reviews.
- Offer Japanese-language assistance for technical documents, supplier correspondence, and internal records as needed.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date recordkeeping for inventory, process improvements, and cost-saving efforts.
- Adapt between remote and onsite work environments in alignment with operational demands.
Qualifications
Associate Degree or relevant experience in facilities management, supply chain, operations, or business analytics is required. Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office are essential. You should be capable of working independently, managing multiple priorities, and communicating insights effectively to stakeholders. Experience with ERP systems and MRO inventory processes is highly valued. Familiarity with Japanese language reading and communication is a plus.
Work Environment
This position operates under a hybrid model, requiring a minimum of two days per week onsite. Additional presence may be needed based on business needs. Work takes place across remote, office, and manufacturing plant settings, with personal protective equipment provided for plant access. You may support hands-on preventive maintenance coordination and have access to professional development through compliance and technical training programs.
