J.S. Held LLC is hiring a Senior Analyst, Corporate Development to join our M&A deal team. This role plays an integral part in evaluating acquisitions, leading financial due diligence, and building the quantitative analysis that drives our growth strategy.
What You'll Do
- Support preliminary target diligence, including NDA negotiation, information requests, and initial financial models.
- Maintain a database of potential target companies and manage a presentation tracking the current pipeline.
- Communicate key updates regularly to investors and firm leadership.
- Support due diligence processes through data gathering, analysis, and stakeholder coordination.
- Lead and support internal processes and analytics related to transactions.
- Prepare business cases, presentations, and recommendations for leadership and investors.
- Assist in developing new business lines and other corporate development initiatives.
- Assist in negotiating and executing transaction agreements alongside legal counsel.
- Work closely with the Corporate Development integration team on key integration workstreams.
- Monitor and report on post-transaction integration and performance.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree with 1-3 years of M&A experience in investment banking, corporate development, or private equity.
- Rigorous analytical skills, including building financial models, valuation analysis, competitive research, and market sizing.
- High competency in translating acquisition opportunities into compelling PowerPoint decks.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to convey strategic findings.
- Robust project management skills, with a track record of delivering concurrent, high-quality, cross-functional projects.
- Exceptional proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Nice to Have
- Sector experience in professional services or business services is a plus.

Team & Environment
You will report to the Vice President, Corporate Development and be part of the team responsible for acquisitions and lift outs.
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $110,000-$140,000
- Flexible work environment with remote options; expectation is approximately 3 days in the office.
