Role Overview
This position supports the Commercial Finance team by enhancing forecasting accuracy and promotional investment analysis across global markets. The Senior Analyst will work closely with executive leadership and cross-functional partners to ensure reliable financial planning, reporting, and compliance with US GAAP standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead revenue and contra-revenue forecasting for annual and strategic planning cycles
- Support financial operations for international legal entities in the UK and Canada
- Ensure all revenue and promotional accounting aligns with US GAAP requirements
- Develop and refine financial models to assess return on investment for commercial initiatives
- Improve forecasting systems, processes, and modeling techniques for greater efficiency
- Manage forecasting for marketing and sales operational expenses
- Collaborate with Commercial Leadership to shape promotional program design and execution
- Analyze financial data to identify issues, draw insights, and communicate findings to stakeholders
- Support special projects and additional duties as needed
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum of four years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, with a focus on revenue analysis
- Strong grasp of US GAAP and financial reporting principles
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities
- Familiarity with multiple ERP platforms
- Proven ability to present data clearly and influence decision-making at senior levels
- Self-driven with strong collaboration skills and adaptability across time zones
- Ability to manage complex details while maintaining focus on broader objectives
Preferred
- Background in consumer products or related industries
- Advanced technical accounting knowledge
- Master’s degree or CPA certification
