CVS Health is seeking a Senior Analyst, Actuarial to join our Actuarial Rating Systems Support team. You will drive operational execution for our large group commercial rating engine (ERNIE), project managing system enhancements from start to finish and implementing changes to our production environment.
What You'll Do
- Define specifications and documentation for rating methodology changes
- Test and provide final sign-off for ERNIE system enhancements
- Create exhibits to demonstrate rating method results for regulatory and underwriting inquiries
- Investigate historical pricing practices across national commercial large group business
- Assess the claim impact of benefit relativity changes
- Value the financial impact of actuarial methodology and underwriting practice changes on our Medical, Dental, and Vision lines of business
- Implement commercial actuarial rate reviews in ERNIE
- Provide Tier 2 technical support for underwriting and actuarial rating issues
- Improve processes using SQL and Excel/VBA
What We're Looking For
- 2 actuarial exams passed and actively pursuing an ASA designation
- 2+ years of actuarial work experience
- A Bachelor's Degree
