About the Role

The Senior Actuarial Analyst will be responsible for conducting complex actuarial analyses, developing predictive models, and providing insights to inform business strategies. The role requires a deep understanding of healthcare data and actuarial principles to support the organization's goals.

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced actuarial analyses to assess risks and opportunities.

  • Support the implementation of new actuarial software and tools.
  • Develop and maintain actuarial databases and data warehouses.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior actuarial analysts.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate actuarial models into existing systems.
  • Conduct sensitivity analyses to assess the impact of different scenarios.
  • Prepare actuarial valuations and financial projections.
  • Develop and implement risk management frameworks.
  • Conduct stress testing and scenario analysis to assess risk exposure.
  • Support the development of actuarial policies and procedures.
  • Participate in actuarial audits and reviews.
  • Provide actuarial support for mergers and acquisitions.
  • Develop and maintain actuarial dashboards and reporting tools.
  • Conduct actuarial research to support product development.

Nice to Have

  • Master's degree in Actuarial Science or a related field.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Certification in data analytics or related field.
