Responsibilities
- Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and regulatory reporting requirements
- Lead internal and external audit coordination for financial reviews
- Maintain and improve internal accounting policies and procedures
- Support the close process with accuracy and strict adherence to deadlines
- Analyze complex accounting transactions and recommend proper treatment
- Assist in the implementation and documentation of new accounting standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data
- Review and verify journal entries and account reconciliations
- Provide technical accounting research and guidance on emerging issues
- Assist in improving financial reporting systems and processes
- Monitor financial data integrity across reporting platforms
- Prepare supporting documentation for financial disclosures
- Work closely with external auditors during audit periods
- Identify opportunities to streamline reporting workflows
- Ensure consistency in financial presentation across periods
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities with reporting insights
- Maintain a strong internal control environment
- Address accounting inquiries from management and stakeholders
- Track key performance metrics related to financial reporting
- Stay current with changes in accounting regulations and standards
- Prepare management reports for executive review
- Escalate potential financial risks or discrepancies promptly
- Ensure proper documentation for all reporting activities
