Precision for Medicine is hiring a Senior Accountant

This role is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the organization's financial data through diligent oversight of the general ledger and reporting systems. The Senior Accountant supports accurate and timely financial close cycles, ensuring all monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting deadlines are met with consistency and clarity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily general ledger activities, including journal entries, cash postings, and account reconciliations
  • Support month-end and year-end close procedures with attention to detail and compliance
  • Oversee inter-company invoicing, cash application, and banking operations in coordination with the Controller
  • Ensure timely processing of accounts payable and receivables, maintaining strong financial controls
  • Respond to financial inquiries from senior management and support ad hoc analysis and special reporting needs
  • Collaborate with finance team members to align with departmental goals and improve workflow efficiency
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of improved accounting procedures and internal controls

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline is required. Candidates must bring at least five years of hands-on experience across the full accounting cycle, including financial reporting, payroll, tax compliance, and statutory filings. Familiarity with Eastern European financial and tax regulations is essential.

Preference will be given to applicants holding a CPA or equivalent credential, experience in clinical research organizations (CROs), and a working knowledge of USGAAP. Proficiency in MS Excel is expected. The ideal candidate is self-driven, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
