Chime is looking for a Senior Accountant – Client Advisory (Small Business Focus) to act as the primary accounting advisor for a portfolio of small business clients. You will lead monthly and quarterly conversations that turn financial data into clear insights and action, translating numbers into simple, practical recommendations owners can use.
What You'll Do
- Act as the primary accounting advisor for a portfolio of small business clients (under $7M revenue)
- Lead monthly and quarterly conversations that turn financials into clear insights and action
- Identify opportunities, risks, and blind spots, and guide clients toward better decisions
- Translate financial data into simple, practical recommendations owners can actually use
- Partner with clients on topics like cash flow, profitability, and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with your team to ensure financials are accurate, then spend your time using them, not just reviewing them
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Accounting
- 5+ years of experience in small business accounting, client accounting services, or a similar field
- Strong understanding of financial statements and how they connect to business performance
- Experience working directly with clients and explaining financials
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO)
- Comfort with technology and curiosity to learn new tools
- Strong communication skills with the ability to make complex things feel simple
