ServiceNow is hiring a Senior Accountant in Bengaluru or Hyderabad. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring revenue recognition compliance with US GAAP and SEC developments, implementing controls, completing month-end close activities, and supporting process improvements. You will help us pursue our purpose to make the world work better for everyone.

What You'll Do

• Work with team members across multiple offices and partners including Finance, Legal, IT, and Sales Ops.
• Monitor US GAAP and SEC developments to ensure revenue recognition procedures comply.
• Implement controls and evaluate actions required for compliance with ServiceNow accounting processes.
• Complete required month-end close activities including revenue reconciliation and management reporting.
• Support process improvements to further improve revenue tasks and shorten the revenue close cycle.
• Document reviews following ASC 606 accounting standards.
• Provision and create training on revenue recognition rules and policies for partners.
• Perform contract analysis review to ensure subscription contracts have been accounted for.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.
• Experience with US GAAP software revenue recognition under ASC 606.
• Big 4 or Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) revenue accounting experience.
• Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Products especially Excel.

Nice to Have

• Prior SAP experience is a plus.
