What You'll Do
Take ownership of complex accounting tasks, including advanced accruals and financial estimates, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Lead by example through direct oversight of junior accountants, reviewing their work and supporting their development. Tackle technical and operational challenges by identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
Collaborate with senior finance roles to enhance client reporting and contribute to special initiatives. Play a key role in refining accounting workflows, close processes, and system configurations to improve efficiency and consistency. Document procedures and help shape standardized practices across teams.
Requirements
You bring 2–3 or more years of accounting experience, preferably with a background in public accounting or audit at a large firm. You have a firm grasp of fundamental accounting principles and the month-end close cycle. Your work reflects meticulous attention to detail and a strong personal commitment to accountability.
You're proficient with spreadsheets, cloud-based accounting platforms, and modern software tools. Naturally curious and adaptable, you consistently seek ways to improve both your own performance and team processes.
