Nacar is looking for a Senior Accountant to play a key role in managing accounting operations across multiple entities. This position ensures the accuracy of financial data, maintains compliance with U.S. GAAP, and supports the month-end close process.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and review bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Reconcile and monitor clearing accounts, promptly resolving outstanding items.
- Review and distribute employee expense reports for compliance with company policies and budgets.
- Process contractor payments and U.S.-based payroll accurately and on schedule.
- Manage wholesale accounts receivable in collaboration with the collections team.
- Ensure accurate and timely sales tax filings.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining a 13-week cash flow forecast.
- Support the month-end close process, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations across entities.
- Verify that all transactions are correctly recorded to the appropriate general ledger account, entity, location, and cost center.
- Maintain and reconcile intercompany transactions and allocations.
- Collaborate with Operations, FP&A, and Cost Accounting teams to support accurate reporting and analysis.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in NetSuite, QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and Google Workspace.
- Hands-on experience with multi-company accounting and intercompany reconciliations in NetSuite.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and familiarity with U.S. sales tax regulations.
- Experience working with Wholesale, DTC eCommerce, and Marketplace revenue channels.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and remotely while managing multiple priorities effectively.
Nice to Have
- Accounting experience preferably in a multi-entity organization.
- Experience with Vertex or Avalara for sales tax filings.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as ClickUp or Monday.com.
