Lead the accuracy and timeliness of financial operations by managing critical accounting functions across global entities. This role is central to executing month-end and quarter-end close procedures, ensuring precise journal entries, accruals, and comprehensive account reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and review journal entries, perform detailed account analysis, and resolve variances to maintain financial integrity.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, supporting schedules, and internal reports in compliance with U.S. GAAP.
- Support the consolidation of international operations and assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial filings.
- Conduct research on complex accounting matters and document conclusions for uncertain or evolving standards.
- Maintain and monitor internal controls related to SOX and ICFR, ensuring adherence and readiness for audits.
- Collaborate with internal teams including finance, supply chain, and commercial units to ensure accurate transaction treatment.
- Guide junior staff through knowledge sharing and promote consistent application of accounting best practices.
- Lead process optimization efforts and support the implementation of financial systems and automation tools.
- Respond to internal and external audit requests and support remediation of control findings.
- Assist in accounting for intercompany activity, joint ventures, and emerging business projects.
Qualifications
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with 3–6 years of professional experience in corporate or public accounting. A solid grasp of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and financial close cycles is essential. Experience with ERP platforms—particularly SAP—and tools like Blackline is required. Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting systems is expected. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing deadlines are critical. A CPA is preferred, and candidates actively pursuing certification are encouraged to apply.
