This role supports the controllership function by managing key accounting processes, including month-end close, financial reporting, and audit coordination. The Corporate Accountant ensures accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP across all financial records and reporting packages.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting tasks, including general ledger reconciliations and sub-ledger maintenance to support timely month-end close
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements with detailed variance analysis to support internal reporting
- Compile financial reporting packages for international subsidiaries and reconcile corporate and local ledger activity
- Support annual audit cycles, including statutory and fiscal year-end audits, by coordinating with external auditors
- Collaborate with finance and operations teams to resolve accruals, reconciliations, and audit-related requests
- Assist in drafting technical accounting documentation and drive improvements in reconciliation processes
- Lead initiatives to standardize and simplify accounting workflows across departments
- Participate in special projects as assigned by the finance leadership team
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field is required, along with active pursuit or attainment of a CPA designation. The ideal candidate demonstrates accountability, strong collaboration skills, and a commitment to delivering accurate results under deadlines.
