At Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), we're seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Client Finance Team in Nashville, Tennessee. In this role, you will provide high-quality financial services to our clients, ensuring accurate reporting, analysis, and compliance while supporting our commitment to exceptional client service.
What You'll Do
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes for assigned client accounts, including AR/AP, general ledger maintenance, and financial statement preparation
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Perform complex account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Process and analyze client financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures with high accuracy and efficiency
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audit processes
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with clients, addressing inquiries and providing financial insights
- Mentor junior accounting staff and review their work for accuracy and completeness
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have
- Experience preferably in real estate or property management
- CPA certification
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with property management accounting systems
