HireHawk is looking for a Senior Accountant to join a privately held investment and wealth management business. In this remote role, you will independently manage core accounting operations, ensuring timely month-end closes and providing reliable financial data for leadership decisions. What You'll Do
- Complete monthly bank and account reconciliations with accuracy and consistency.
- Prepare and close monthly financial statements, including profit and loss and balance sheets.
- Calculate and reconcile monthly commissions based on assets under management.
- Process payroll accurately and on schedule using a payroll management system.
- Maintain well-organized, audit-ready financial records and supporting documentation.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience performing monthly bank and account reconciliations.
- Experience preparing monthly profit and loss statements and monthly balance sheets.
- Experience executing full month-end close processes.
- Experience calculating assets under management commission amounts and reconciling commission calculations.
- Experience processing payroll using an online payroll system.
- Ability to maintain accurate, well-organized financial records.
- Experience producing reliable monthly financial reporting for leadership review.
