Thomson Reuters is hiring a Senior Account Manager to build and manage relationships with small-to-mid-sized corporate clients. In this role, you will develop strategic account plans, prospect for new business, and manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to renewal, all within an assigned territory.
What You'll Do
- Actively seek new business opportunities to build a robust sales pipeline.
- Lead the complete sales process, including account planning, deal closing, and renewal.
- Meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions that address customer needs.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records and forecasts in salesforce.com.
- Engage in direct client meetings, in person or via platforms like MS Teams.
What We're Looking For
- Proven ability to sell complex software solutions to small and medium companies using a consultative, value-based approach.
- Experience with high-velocity sales and a land-and-expand strategy.
- Self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, possessing a growth mindset and ability to manage change.
- Experience selling to C-level executives using a solution-selling approach.
- Skilled in leading detailed sales processes involving multiple stakeholders.
- Strong commitment to the company's mission and understanding of artificial intelligence in legal operations.
- Enthusiasm for prospecting and ability to manage the entire sales cycle independently.
- Ability to collaborate with teams across departments like marketing, product, and legal.
- Eagerness to refine sales strategies, enhance team culture, and develop tools to drive success.
- A minimum of 4 years of direct field sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding quotas.
- Ability to develop and execute an account plan.
- Able to work from a home office and travel to customer locations.
