FWD People is hiring a Senior Account Manager

About the Role

Lead client projects in complex, regulated environments with a focus on precision, compliance, and clear communication. As a Senior Account Manager, you'll act as the central point of coordination for smaller initiatives and contribute to larger campaigns by managing timelines, internal reviews, and regulatory submissions. Your role ensures that creative and production teams receive clear direction, and that all deliverables meet brand, legal, and clinical standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day client interactions and support broader project teams with workflow coordination and status tracking.
  • Oversee project schedules, internal approvals, and cross-team communication to maintain consistent progress.
  • Prepare and submit materials for Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) review, ensuring accuracy and adherence to guidelines.
  • Organize and lead meetings, including agenda creation, action item documentation, and follow-up tracking.
  • Interpret brand strategies and creative briefs to guide production teams and maintain project focus.
  • Verify that all outputs are delivered on time, error-free, and aligned with brand and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor project budgets, scope, and financial reporting to support efficient delivery.
  • Develop a working knowledge of clinical data and therapeutic areas to enhance strategic contributions.
  • Work closely with account, creative, strategy, and digital teams to ensure cohesive, high-quality results.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and ensure smooth transitions between team members and phases.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in account or project management, preferably within healthcare or pharma agency environments.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and shifting priorities with precision.
  • Understanding of MLR processes, regulatory requirements, and omnichannel marketing tactics.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a highly organized and proactive approach.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability and foresight in addressing project challenges.
  • Curiosity and initiative to learn and grow, with early evidence of strategic thinking.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality across all deliverables.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience

  • Background in oncology, immunology, neurology, or rare diseases.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms.
  • Exposure to brand planning frameworks and strategic planning processes.
  • Experience handling scientific or clinical content.
  • Work history with biotech or pharmaceutical clients.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $90,000–$110,000. Additional benefits include 25 days of paid time off annually, 16 paid holidays, a matching 401(k), and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage. Generous parental leave, home office setup support, and yearly team retreats are also provided. Professional growth is supported through a dedicated development stipend, executive coaching, and access to training programs.

Work Environment

This is a hybrid role based in Brooklyn, with flexible scheduling. While in-person collaboration is valued, remote work options are available to support work-life balance. The ideal candidate thrives in a culture built on integrity, adaptability, excellence, and inclusion, contributing to a team that values respect, innovation, and continuous growth.

Equal Opportunity

We are committed to equity and inclusion in the workplace. All qualified applicants will be considered without regard to race, gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics. Our goal is to foster a diverse, respectful environment where every individual can succeed.
