About the Role

Freshworks is looking for a Senior Account Management professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building deep customer relationships and driving incremental business in our existing enterprise customers by delivering clear value. You'll employ a consultative sales approach, manage a pipeline of business opportunities, and deliver results against a quota.

What You'll Do

  • Become the resident expert on the Freshworks platform and expand cloud-based software usage in existing customers.
  • Drive revenue expansion through upsell and cross-sell to meet or exceed your targets.
  • Professionally manage relationships with your portfolio of assigned accounts.
  • Demonstrate and sell value to key stakeholders using Customer Success Plans and strategies.
  • Build and execute a plan to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction within your assigned accounts.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of client needs, objectives, and processes to ensure successful product adoption.
  • Create and articulate compelling value conversations with C-Level stakeholders and work in alignment with internal teams.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience selling directly to VP or C-level executives.
  • 4-8 years of overall sales experience.
  • 2+ years of SAAS sales or solution-based selling experience.
  • A track record of driving expanded usage in existing customer accounts.
  • Proven success selling into Mid Market and Enterprise companies.
  • Experience managing and closing complex sales cycles using solution selling techniques.
  • Consultative sales skills and the ability to construct and articulate strong business cases and ROI.
  • A consistent track record of account growth and quota achievement.
  • A thorough understanding of related technology in the CRM, EX, or CX space.
  • Experience with account portfolio planning, management, and prioritization.
  • Strong project management capability and ability to multitask.
  • High attention to detail and a willingness to get hands-on to solve problems.
  • Knowledge of customer success best practices.
  • Experience driving client adoption of technology or software products.
  • Skilled in virtual presentations, online web demos, and remote sales processes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to convey and relate ideas to others.
  • A vibrant, energetic attitude and a willingness to perform and get things done.
  • Flexibility to work in the EU/UK shift or ANZ (early morning) hours.

Nice to Have

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree.
  • A technical background.
