Iron Mountain is hiring a Senior Account Executive to drive growth within the Warehousing & Contract Logistics sector. This role expands our presence by deepening relationships with existing customers and third-party logistics providers to deliver specialized warehousing solutions.
What You'll Do
- Identify and grow opportunities within existing accounts across industries like CPG, Retail, eCommerce, Electronics, Industrial, and Automotive.
- Develop strategic account plans to expand service offerings, improve retention, and meet revenue goals.
- Collaborate across Commercial, Marketing, Operations, and Solutions Design teams.
- Navigate complex B2B sales cycles with a focus on long-term, consultative partnerships.
- Strengthen client relationships with an emphasis on account farming and upselling warehousing capabilities.
- Serve as the primary strategic contact, understanding client challenges and proactively creating value.
- Lead collaborative contract negotiations for profitable, sustainable partnerships.
- Prepare and respond to RFPs with a consultative approach, supported by established relationships.
- Partner with Solutions Design to develop innovative, warehousing-focused logistics solutions.
- Lead cross-functional engagement across Operations, IT, Legal, Risk, Project Management, and HR during RFP and onboarding.
- Provide insights on operational feasibility, resource needs, and scalability during solution development.
- Work with operational teams to ensure smooth implementation and long-term solution success.
- Maintain expertise in warehousing trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings.
- Use market feedback to inform solution development and strategic planning.
- Represent Iron Mountain at industry events and client meetings to build visibility and thought leadership.
- Contribute to cross-departmental planning and strategy supporting warehousing service growth.
- Act as a connector across internal teams to break down silos and drive coordinated account success.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of business development or account management experience within warehousing, contract logistics, or distribution services.
- A demonstrated track record of growing existing client relationships.
- Deep understanding of warehousing operations, distribution center dynamics, and B2B value-added services.
- Proven ability to navigate complex sales cycles with cross-functional internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with a strategic, consultative mindset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to design tailored client solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
Nice to Have
- Experience in operational or industrial design within a warehousing or distribution environment.
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $120,500.00 - $160,600.00 + commissions.
