About the Role

Gartner, Inc. is hiring a Senior Account Executive for a field-based, direct sales role focused on client retention and growth. You will consult with C-level executives to develop and implement enterprise-wide strategies that maximize the value delivered by Gartner’s insights and services.

What You'll Do

  • Manage accounts to increase customer satisfaction, retention, and growth.
  • Master and consistently execute Gartner’s sales methodology.
  • Conduct account planning and territory management.
  • Manage forecast accuracy on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Maintain competitive knowledge and focus.
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of Gartner’s products and services.

What We're Looking For

  • 8-15 years of proven consultative sales experience, preferably in high technology (services, software, or a consultative environment), with evidence of prior success.
  • Strong demonstration of intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales acumen.
  • Proven experience building excellent client relationships at the C-level within large enterprise organisations.
  • Strong computer proficiency and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of the full life cycle of the sales process.
  • A professional level of German.

  • A Bachelors or Masters degree.
