What You'll Do
Lead end-to-end sales initiatives targeting the Medicaid market, guiding opportunities from initial outreach through contract finalization. Develop and refine the strategy for engaging Medicaid Managed Care Organizations, Community Health Centers, and public agencies, shaping how solutions are positioned in a complex regulatory landscape.
Establish trusted relationships with senior leaders including Chief Medical Officers, Medicaid Directors, and Care Management executives. Design proposals that align with organizational goals around member outcomes, engagement, and compliance, while navigating multi-stakeholder decision processes typical in government-funded healthcare.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure offerings meet market needs and are communicated effectively. Represent the organization at industry events and policy forums to grow visibility and generate qualified leads. Maintain precise sales data in Salesforce and deliver regular updates on performance metrics to executive leadership.
Requirements
- 8–10+ years in enterprise sales, with substantial experience selling into Medicaid programs, managed care plans, or public health agencies
- Proven success closing large-scale contracts with Medicaid MCOs or state-level entities
- Strong grasp of Medicaid funding models, managed care contracting, and value-based care frameworks
- Ability to manage extended sales cycles involving regulatory scrutiny and multiple stakeholders
- Experience responding to competitive procurements and leading RFP processes
- Confident communicator with executive presence when engaging C-suite and government officials
- Proficient in Salesforce and committed to disciplined pipeline tracking
- Consistent record of meeting or exceeding targets on enterprise deals valued at $250K–$500K+
