OpenText is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join our team in Norway. You will be responsible for leading pursuits for our DevOps Cloud portfolio within a defined set of customers, using your specialized knowledge to drive the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
What You'll Do
- Lead pursuits in focused territories for the DevOps Cloud portfolio.
- Drive campaigns to build sales pipeline.
- Use specialized knowledge and skills to prospect, qualify, negotiate, and close opportunities.
- Work closely with the extended sales team including PreSales, Professional Services, and Customer Success Management to build effective opportunity and close plans.
What We're Looking For
- Mastery in knowledge of products, solution or service offerings as well as competitor's offerings to sell large, complex solutions.
- Demonstrated leadership and initiative in successfully driving specialty sales in accounts—prospecting, negotiating, and closing deals.
- In-depth knowledge of client's business, organizational structure, business processes, and financial structure.
- Ability to use management (up to C-level) engagement skills to offer value-add solutions.
- Expert use of a CRM system (SalesForce) for accurate business forecasting.
Nice to Have
- Direct software sales experience.
- Experience in selling Application Delivery Management (ADM), DevOps, or Hybrid IT solutions.
