About the Role
This position involves delivering in-depth technical support, troubleshooting complex systems issues, and contributing to the stability and performance of software platforms. The engineer will collaborate with development and operations teams to resolve escalated incidents and improve system reliability.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve escalated technical issues from first-line support teams
- Analyze system performance and identify root causes of recurring problems
- Collaborate with software developers to improve product stability
- Document technical procedures and knowledge base articles
- Support deployment and monitoring of production environments
- Respond to critical incidents with urgency and precision
- Maintain accurate records of issue resolution and service requests
- Provide technical guidance to junior team members
- Evaluate new tools and technologies for operational improvements
- Ensure compliance with security and operational policies
- Participate in on-call rotation for incident response
- Assist in testing updates and patches before release
- Monitor system alerts and proactively address potential failures
- Work cross-functionally with QA and DevOps teams
- Contribute to post-mortem analyses after major incidents
- Improve automation of routine support tasks
- Support cloud infrastructure management and troubleshooting
- Troubleshoot network and server-level issues
- Ensure data integrity during system transitions
- Escalate unresolved issues to third-party vendors or specialists
- Maintain familiarity with application architecture and dependencies
- Assist in capacity planning and resource forecasting
- Implement backup and disaster recovery procedures
- Optimize system configurations for performance and reliability
