AECOM is seeking a Semiconductor Design Manager to lead the design of semiconductor manufacturing and advanced manufacturing projects across the U.S., including master planning, detailed design, and construction administration. This is a client-facing, hands-on role with opportunities for career growth and remote work flexibility within the U.S., including hybrid options near AECOM offices.
What You'll Do
- Lead semiconductor manufacturing facility design team to deliver projects that meet the client’s requirements, on schedule and to a high degree of quality
- Manage project resources, including onboarding/offboarding staff to ensure appropriate resourcing for project needs
- Host and attend meetings with clients and other stakeholders
- Identify problems early and develop creative solutions
- Manage AECOM’s semiconductor manufacturing facility design team, fostering a sense of comradery, collective ownership, and collaboration
- Proactively manage and communicate change throughout the project
- Oversee, and perform peer reviews and quality checks in line with client and AECOM standards
- Proactively communicate with all stakeholders to provide project updates and resolve outstanding issues
- Develop technical and financial proposals
- Build trusting relationships with clients
What We're Looking For
- Experience managing the design of semiconductor fabrication facilities and associated infrastructure
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

- Experience overseeing a variety of semiconductor manufacturing or other advanced manufacturing projects including master planning, detailed design, and construction administration
