Twilio is hiring a Security Compliance & Regulatory Affairs Analyst

About the Role

The individual in this position will support compliance initiatives by managing security certifications, interpreting regulatory requirements, and coordinating with internal teams to uphold policies across international jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular assessments to verify compliance with security frameworks
  • Interpret evolving regulatory mandates and translate them into operational actions
  • Lead internal audits and prepare for external compliance evaluations
  • Maintain documentation for standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR
  • Collaborate with legal and privacy teams on data protection obligations
  • Support responses to client security questionnaires and due diligence requests
  • Track changes in global data regulations affecting service offerings
  • Work with engineering teams to ensure controls are implemented effectively
  • Develop compliance playbooks for new product launches
  • Manage evidence collection for recurring certification cycles
  • Serve as a point of contact for third-party auditors
  • Coordinate compliance training for relevant departments
  • Monitor regulatory developments in key operating regions
  • Assist in the evaluation of vendor compliance postures
  • Maintain compliance tracking systems and dashboards
  • Draft policies and procedures aligned with industry standards
  • Support incident response activities related to regulatory reporting
  • Ensure records retention practices meet legal requirements
  • Facilitate cross-regional alignment on compliance expectations
  • Contribute to remediation plans for audit findings
  • Engage with external consultants on compliance projects
  • Provide input on compliance implications of business decisions
  • Help maintain a culture of security awareness across departments
  • Report compliance status to leadership on a regular basis
  • Support alignment with evolving cloud security standards
