Copeland is hiring a Section Manager - Application Engineering to lead the qualification of new products and provide expert customer support for Oil Free Centrifugal Compressor Electronics across India. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and promoting HVACR and cold chain technologies, serving as a key subject matter expert.
What You'll Do
- Discuss and lay out the annual plan for New Business Opportunities (NBO) for heating, Integrated Solutions, Channel, Flow Control & Electronics.
- Perform load calculations and compressor/accessory selection.
- Review, monitor, and support the execution of plans, regularly interacting with Sales, Plant, and Customer teams.
- Provide field installation and commissioning support, and plan value stories for new products.
- Handle customer issues, updating the Oracle service portal, and identify potential issues for management escalation.
- Coordinate between AE team members, Plant, Quality, and Customer to resolve line and field issues.
- Visit customers to understand and discuss issues firsthand.
- Develop system competency to support Oil Free Centrifugal (OFC) programs and participate in OFC projects and customer testing.
- Participate in and promote products in local ISHRAE, Cold Chain, and other industry forums.
- Support Sales, Marketing, and Customer product promotional programs.
