Serve Robotics is hiring a SEC Manager

Serve Robotics is hiring an SEC Manager to join our Finance and Accounting team. This role will own the preparation of external financial reporting and provide hands-on technical accounting expertise across the organization, reporting to the Controller.

What You'll Do

• Prepare SEC reporting documents including 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, press releases, and investor presentations.
• Develop footnote support schedules, tie-out support for filings, and maintain disclosure checklists.
• Manage SEC reporting documents using the Workiva filing platform.
• Collaborate closely with external auditors (PwC) to support quarterly reviews and the annual audit.
• Research technical accounting and disclosure topics and prepare internal memorandums.
• Partner with the legal team to ensure compliance with SEC regulations.
• Support the Investor Relations team during the earnings release process.
• Assist in maintaining and improving processes and controls over financial reporting.
• Update and maintain our global accounting policies.
• Prepare materials for monthly and quarterly financial close review meetings.
• Participate in special projects and ad hoc requests.

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree in Accounting from an accredited university.
• CPA certification and Big 4 public accounting experience.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• Hands-on experience with ASC606 and ASC805.
• Ability to work closely with management and meet all reporting and audit deadlines.
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
• Experience managing large-scale or global initiatives.

Nice to Have

• SEC reporting experience at a public company.
• Background in the manufacturing and/or software industry.
