The Trustees of Reservations is hiring a Seasonal Steward

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Stewardship Manager and full-time Steward to carry out daily property upkeep, conservation, and land management tasks
  • Carry out scheduled seasonal activities related to landscaping, grounds care, and other assigned property needs
  • Provide support to specialized teams working on trails, historic structures, farming systems, plant life, or artifact collections as required
  • Help ensure visitor safety and satisfaction through regular site checks, clear signage, and well-maintained facilities
  • Occasionally participate in stewardship activities at additional locations within the organization’s network
  • Perform additional assigned duties, with or without reasonable accommodation

Work Arrangement

On-site — Appleton Farms, Ipswich, MA

Team

Works alongside the Stewardship Manager and a full-time Steward; reports directly to the Stewardship Manager
