The Trustees of Reservations is hiring a Seasonal Public Programming Associate

Responsibilities

  • Assist Property Manager and Engagement support in all engagement related programs including but not limited to: Father’s Day BBQ Bash, barnyard programs, Farm Days, and Oktoberfest.
  • Handle registration, set-up, break-down, promotion, and correspondence with community partners for programs.
  • Creation of branded content such as promotional materials.
  • Contribute to social channels (Facebook and Instagram).
  • Be an Appleton/Trustees ambassador and create awareness of our mission to our community.
  • Perform other duties as assigned with or without accommodation.

Requirements

  • Must have a love of agriculture and farms.
  • Must have a can-do attitude with strong attention to detail.
  • Must be organized and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Must have strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Must be flexible to work nights and weekends.
  • Must have access to your own form of transportation.
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
  • Must be willing to work in variable weather conditions.
  • Must have current authorization to work in the United States by first day of employment.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record as outlined in The Trustees’ driving policy.
  • Must pass a satisfactory criminal background (CORI) check.
