The Trustees of Reservations is hiring a Seasonal Guest Services Associate

Responsibilities

  • Greet and guide guests upon arrival, offering details about site features and daily activities
  • Create a welcoming atmosphere and deliver high-quality service throughout each visit
  • Share the organization’s conservation mission and invite guests to support through membership
  • Provide friendly, accurate responses to visitor inquiries throughout the day
  • Prepare the site for opening to ensure readiness before the first guest arrives
  • Perform closing duties and secure the facility at the end of each shift
  • Balance cash registers and reconcile credit card transactions
  • Sell admission tickets, site memberships, and visitor essentials
  • Inform guests about available tours, pricing, and schedules
  • Report any operational issues, maintenance concerns, or low supplies to management
  • Attend scheduled trainings and team meetings to build skills and stay informed on organizational updates and visitor engagement practices
  • Work shifts at the Welcome Cottage as required, handling sales and guest orientation
  • Support operations at the entrance gate when needed
