The Trustees of Reservations is hiring a Seasonal Farm Camp Educator (Counselor) (Appleton)

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the daily safety of campers while facilitating an enjoyable and educational environment.
  • Develop and carry out camp programming centered on farming, food systems, sustainability, and nature with guidance from farm and camp staff.
  • Collaborate with the camp team to plan age-appropriate daily activities and farm-related projects.
  • Guide campers in plant and animal care tasks within the Learning Garden and Education Barnyard; assist colleagues in maintaining these areas.
  • Maintain communication with parents on camp-related inquiries and basic camper updates.
  • Complete daily operational tasks to set up, manage, and close camp sessions efficiently.
  • Attend regular check-ins with the Camp Director and Assistant Director to review progress and performance.
