Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the culinary team to strengthen guest connections to local agriculture
- Use organic ingredients and regionally sourced grains in creating seasonal menu items
- Prepare dishes following established recipes with consistency
- Cook, bake, and package food items safely for retail sale
- Support kitchen operations with food and bakery prep tasks as needed
- Help prepare for and execute large-scale events on event days
- Manage multiple tasks efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Adhere to all commercial kitchen standard operating procedures
- Maintain rigorous sanitation, food safety, and workplace safety standards
- Provide flexible support to the culinary team across various duties
Requirements
- Experience in food preparation or baking
- Strong communication skills for effective team interaction
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively
- Motivated to complete detailed prep tasks efficiently
- Passionate about sourcing from local farms and serving the community
- Skilled in handling multiple projects simultaneously
