The Trustees of Reservations is hiring a Seasonal Camp Lifeguard

Responsibilities

• Monitor and oversee campers and staff in the designated swimming area to ensure a secure environment.
• Enforce established waterfront regulations, safety protocols, and camp policies for all individuals present.
• Respond promptly and effectively to medical or safety emergencies occurring on the beach or in the water.
• Inspect, maintain, and organize safety equipment and waterfront supplies for immediate readiness.
• Communicate clearly with leadership, educators, and fellow safety personnel to coordinate efficient operations.
• Assist with camper transitions to and from the beach, including helping young participants with equipment and ensuring proper hydration and sunscreen use.
• Act as a reassuring and encouraging role model for campers of varying swimming skill levels.
• Engage in routine physical training and daily fitness activities as part of job requirements.
• Carry out additional assigned tasks, with or without accommodations, to support overall camp operations.
