The Trustees of Reservations is hiring a Seasonal Camp Educator (Counselor) & Extended Day Coordinator (Crane Estate)

Responsibilities

  • Support various camper groups during afternoon sessions, adapting to different age levels as required
  • Collaborate with fellow educators during beach visits, nature walks, games, arts and crafts, and outdoor learning experiences
  • Promote positive behavior and group cohesion using techniques learned in training
  • Maintain regular communication with camp staff and leadership to align with daily programming goals
  • Assist in cleaning and organizing spaces at the end of each day to ensure readiness for the next
  • Design, organize, and lead the daily Extended Day program with engaging, safe, and age-suitable activities
  • Coordinate staffing logistics with assistant directors, including coverage and communication with afternoon team members
  • Track attendance, manage check-in procedures, and oversee parent pickups for a seamless end to the camp day
  • Prepare and maintain materials, supplies, and activity areas for the Extended Day program
  • Report any incidents, concerns, or updates involving campers to camp leadership promptly

Compensation

$17.00-$19.00/hour, based on relevant experience
