Santander is looking for a Brand Manager to act as the primary marketing interface for our OEM partners. In this role, you will build strong relationships through a coordinated approach to all marketing activity, working closely with their commercial and marketing teams. You'll be instrumental in delivering our financial services business development strategy.

What You'll Do

Deliver the financial services business development strategy across all key marketing functions under guidance of line management.
Develop an annual activity plan outlining timings, costs, and high-level deliverables based on strategic goals.
Deliver key performance indicators to brands using wider business MI to ensure trends are understood and appropriate action taken.
Work with brand Sales & Marketing functions to develop, build, test, and deliver finance-led consumer offerings as part of quarterly marketing campaigns.
Work with the Channel Development Team to drive delivery of the online sales strategy by integrating finance calculators and apply online functionality into brand websites.
Adapt, refine, and deliver the customer communication plan in line with customer management and renewals strategy, supporting dealer network development.
Assist in development of new finance products, act as conduit for feedback on existing products, and produce recommendations for enhancements.
Develop point of sale or other marketing collateral by managing external suppliers in line with Global Brand Guidelines.
Provide guidance and records management for financial promotions produced by brands, ensuring decisions are within policy, process, and business risk appetite.
Deal with or escalate identified risks in relation to Santander risk policies and legislative/regulatory guidelines.
Adhere to commitment to Consumer Duty ensuring customer needs come first and higher standards of consumer protection are set.

What We're Looking For

Minimum 3 years experience working within an automotive related financial services industry OR in a motor manufacturer sales and marketing environment.
Ability to produce sound working documentation and presentations, including business case proposals, briefs, and business presentations.
Appreciation and working knowledge of legal, regulatory, and compliance issues corresponding with operation of a business regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
Display a good understanding of the general market sector, exhibit sound business acumen, have excellent interpersonal skills, and be confident dealing with senior management.

Nice to Have

Experience having worked in an agency environment or worked closely with external marketing agencies.
Previous experience and/or working knowledge of financial promotions.
A passion or interest in the automotive sector.
Experience or knowledge of electric vehicles and the sector.

Team & Environment

You will work closely with the commercial and marketing teams of OEM partners, as well as Santander's Channel Development Team, Marketing, Communications and CRM Team. You will report directly to line management.
