Wipro is hiring a Scrum Master to guide and facilitate a Scrum team. You will be accountable for the correct implementation of Agile processes, removing team impediments, and ensuring the achievement of sprint deliverables.
What You'll Do
- Be accountable for meeting Sprint objectives alongside the scrum team
- Own and help resolve impediments for the team
- Help the Product Owner adopt the Scrum process properly and ensure their availability
- Support the Product Owner in maintaining the Product Backlog, defining User Stories and Acceptance Criteria
- Facilitate estimation, backlog refinement, and all planning ceremonies
- Ensure Definition of Ready, Definition of Done, and Acceptance Criteria are available and adhered to
- Protect the team from external interference
- Facilitate technical assistance and clear communication amongst team members
- Participate in Scrum of Scrums across teams and highlight impediments
- Provide feedback on team member performance to the Agile Line manager and Agile Program Leader
- Facilitate all Scrum Ceremonies (Planning, Daily Standup, Grooming, Demo, Retrospective) and ensure correct adoption
- Ensure updating of all Scrum artifacts and the ALM tool on a daily basis
- Update key Scrum metrics into Wipro’s internal tool on a Sprint-by-Sprint basis
- Analyze key Scrum metrics and take corrective actions
- Create a competency improvement and cross-skilling plan for the team, review monthly, and ensure improvement in competency score
- Help the team attain stable velocity within 6-8 sprints
- Train the team on the proper adoption of Agile processes (Scrum / XP / Kanban)
- Help in adoption of engineering practices like ATDD, TDD, CI, CD, and Refactoring
- Record and own retrospective actions
- Participate in community of practice initiatives
- Provide inputs to the Line manager for internal quality forums
What We're Looking For
- Certification and experience in Agile-Scrum methodologies
- 8-10 years of relevant professional experience
