Sanofi/Genzyme Corporation is looking for a Scrum Master to serve as a servant leader and coach for Agile Product Teams (Pods) within our Digital R&D organization. You will play a key role in advancing engineering excellence and driving Sanofi’s digital transformation by educating teams, removing impediments, and fostering high-performing dynamics to deliver maximum value.
What You'll Do
- Lead Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) across multiple pods, ensuring they are goal-oriented, time-bound, and drive meaningful outcomes.
- Coach teams on Agile principles, Lean thinking, and self-organization. Mentor Product Owners in backlog refinement and value-driven prioritization.
- Identify, track, and eliminate blockers that impact delivery velocity. Facilitate problem-solving sessions and implement sustainable solutions.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects, and Engineering Leads to align delivery goals. Manage inter-pod dependencies and communicate progress, risks, and mitigation plans with leadership.
- Champion Agile best practices and scaling frameworks. Contribute to enterprise Agile standards, metrics, and community of practice initiatives.
- Apply product-mindset thinking to uncover root causes and drive meaningful change. Use data-driven insights (velocity, cycle time, predictability) to guide improvement.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- 7+ years of professional experience, including 3+ years as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach.
- Proven experience managing multiple Agile teams or pods in complex environments.
- Expertise in Agile at Scale frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, or similar).
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM II/III) or equivalent certification.
- Strong facilitation, conflict resolution, and servant leadership skills.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, metrics-based delivery, and continuous improvement.
Nice to Have
- Experience in the healthcare or life sciences domain.
