Samsung Electronics America is looking for an SCM Operations Specialist to join the Supply Chain Management team for our Display division. You will play a key role in our global operations, driving end-to-end supply chain integration from suppliers to end-users to improve and execute operations to high standards.
What You'll Do
- Lead Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings with stakeholders.
- Manage 6-month demand forecasts and stock allocation and delivery.
- Collaborate cross-functionally, particularly with Sales and Product Management, to drive demand planning accuracy.
- Identify operational issues, set improvement plans, and monitor KPIs like forecast accuracy and inventory.
- Analyze market trends and translate them into demand planning.
- Produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales projections.
- Provide customer updates on back orders and delivery schedules.
- Handle business development seeding orders.
- Provide clarity on team strategy, purpose, and direction, defining key areas of focus.
- Support team development through regular mentoring, coaching, feedback, 1:1s, and on-the-job learning.
- Role model inclusion to build trust and psychological safety.
- Ensure communication with the team is a core focus, cascading information from leadership.
- Manage the onboarding, offboarding, and the entirety of the colleague lifecycle process.
- Manage all annual people management cycles such as goal setting, evaluation, and salary reviews.
- Ensure team compliance with company processes and procedures.
