Synolo Therapeutics is seeking an innovative and collaborative Scientist, Immunology to join our fast-paced startup. As a key contributor, you will work alongside a highly dynamic team to advance our portfolio of multispecific biologics by developing and executing immune assays and driving drug discovery efforts forward.
What You'll Do
- Contribute to and support key research activities and project goals within the Immunology group.
- Develop, optimize, and execute immune-based assays using primary cells and cell lines to characterize multispecific biologic leads.
- Generate, engineer, and maintain cultures and stocks of immortalized cell lines and primary human cell samples.
- Analyze, interpret, and communicate experimental results to contribute to data-driven decision-making.
- Document and organize high-quality experimental records using an electronic lab notebook.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners in a fast-paced, start-up environment to drive programs from concept to data.
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated expertise with immunological techniques, including ELISA, MSD, and flow cytometry.
- Extensive experience with current molecular and cell biology techniques, including mammalian cell culture, reporter assays, transfection, and transduction.
- Strong understanding of biologics and antibodies, with hands-on experience in their development and application.
- Analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative and adaptable team player who builds strong cross-functional relationships.
- Clear and effective communicator, able to convey results and concepts through written documentation and presentations.
- PhD, MS, or BS in Immuno-Oncology, Immunology, Cell Biology, or a related field. For candidates with a BS or MS, a minimum of 5 years (BS) or 3 years (MS) of relevant industry experience is required.
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with characterizing biologics through cell-based immune assays.
- Hands-on experience with running multi-color flow cytometry.
- Experience working effectively in a rapidly evolving biotech start-up environment.
