Inventive Food Technology is hiring a Scent Design Trainee for our Fabric & Home Care department. Based in Hilversum, you will partner with internal stakeholders to align fragrance strategies with business objectives and drive creative excellence.

What You'll Do

Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure fragrance strategies align with overall business objectives.
Establish creative strategy to drive project success, fulfil customer expectations, and ensure profitability.
Share market product knowledge and brand portfolio knowledge to guide the creative process.
Maintain a thorough understanding of the process for managing the Scent Portfolio.
Drive the creative process by ensuring strong working relationships with internal and external customers.
Present market trends, fragrance trends, and CI analysis in partnership with relevant disciplines.
Identify potential fragrances based on brand fit and market relevance.
Maintain a good overview of the relationship between the creative process, decisions, cost, product performance, and constraints in developing fragrances.

What We're Looking For

Master’s or Bachelor degree in Chemistry, Fragrance, Marketing, Business, or any other relevant discipline.
Ability to effectively identify potential fragrances based on market relevance.
Excellent influencing skills, good business acumen, and customer relationship management skills.
Strong project management skills, discipline, and willingness to embrace diversity.
Ability to deliver in a fast-changing environment with good prioritization skills.
Proficiency in English.

Nice to Have

Proficiency in other languages.
Understanding of functional and technical capabilities, including knowledge of consumers and market needs.
Strong team player with the ability to motivate others to achieve results.
