As a Scent Design Associate in the Home Care division, you will play a key role in shaping fragrance concepts that connect with consumers and respond to evolving market trends. Based in Dubai’s Scent Creative Center, you’ll work at the intersection of creativity and strategy, guiding the development of new scent profiles and technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead go-to-market initiatives and drive fragrance innovation strategies from concept to execution
- Translate consumer insights, market data, and customer requirements into actionable fragrance directions
- Partner with perfumers, technical experts, marketing, and consumer research teams to identify opportunities and overcome development challenges
- Apply Holistic Scent Design principles to build creative frameworks that guide olfactive exploration
- Define consumer learning objectives that inform scent relevance and differentiation
- Provide creative direction to perfumers, supporting originality and technical feasibility in fragrance creation
- Build trusted relationships with internal partners and maintain awareness of competitive and market developments
- Share knowledge across teams to strengthen organizational insight and alignment
Qualifications and Skills
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in perfumery, chemistry, consumer science, product research, or a related field. Fluency in English is required. Essential skills include:
- Strong olfactive perception and the ability to articulate scent characteristics clearly
- Understanding of fragrance ingredients, formulation basics, and stability considerations
