About the Role
The Senior Scala Developer will join the core engineering team in Poland to scale, optimize, and evolve a real-time ad platform processing over 41.5 billion daily ad requests from more than 262 million unique users worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems using Scala.
- Work closely with engineers, data scientists, and product managers to define requirements and deliver high-impact features.
- Improve system architecture, performance, and resilience under failure conditions.
- Conduct code reviews, promote best practices, and support team-wide technical growth.
- Engage in technical planning and actively influence the direction of the platform’s development.
