Responsibilities
- Proficiently operates hand tools, bench equipment, and machinery for deburring, filing, grinding, and polishing machined components.
- Demonstrates skill in using measuring devices such as tape measures, squaring tools, electronic levels, calipers, and micrometers.
- Interprets and adheres to specified part tolerances during fabrication and finishing processes.
- Identifies performance issues in machinery and implements adjustments to optimize output efficiency.
- Accurately conducts alignment checks, dimensional verifications, and general inspections, including random part sampling.
- Reads and follows work orders, blueprints, and material lists while completing and managing required documentation.
- Calculates and applies correct bend allowances for sheet metal made of stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel.
- Performs additional tasks as directed by supervisors or workflow demands.

- Capable of working in a shop setting with exposure to welding fumes and industrial manufacturing conditions.
- Complies with safety regulations and wears designated protective gear when necessary.
- Available for overtime work based on production needs.
- Able to travel independently as required for job duties.
