Ford is looking for an SAP Technical Delivery Manager to provide in-house technical leadership and oversight for our SAP S/4HANA implementation. You will be responsible for leading the design and implementation, collaborating with business and IT teams, and integrating SAP technologies to drive our strategic goals.
What You'll Do
- Provide in-house technical leadership and oversight for the SAP S/4HANA implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical standards.
- Lead the design and implementation of SAP solutions, aligning with business requirements and strategic goals.
- Collaborate with business areas, IT teams, and external partners to define and refine project scope and deliverables.
- Keep abreast of the latest SAP technologies and innovations to integrate relevant solutions into the organization.
- Develop roadmaps, delivery planning, project plans and present these to senior leaders.
- Develop integration plans for SAP and key non-SAP systems ensuring seamless functionality and data flow.
- Document all architectural designs and changes, maintaining compliance with both internal guidelines and external regulations.
- Recommend proposals to Steering Committee for changes or implementations to support effective cost savings across the landscape.
- Provide leadership and guidance to both SAP technical and functional teams across the project lifecycle.
- Provide career guidance, coaching and mentoring for a team of direct reporting analysts.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Applications, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Communication Engineering or a related field.
- 15 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
- 12 years of experience with SAP Technical developments and delivery management.
- 8 years of experience with SAP S4 technical development using at least 6 of the following: SAP ABAP, Idocs, ALE Reporting, BAPI, BADI, AIF, CDS views, or OData technologies.
- 5 years of experience leading technical scope of implementation in SAP Activate, ASAP or SAFE Agile methodology.
- 5 years of experience coordinating with SAP technical services (Release Management, Basis and Security) for Transports management, cutover, upgrades, notes implementation and build delivery.
- 3 years of experience driving end to end SAP S4 Technical implementation or upgrade leading the team.
- 3 years of experience defining technical architecture for integrating SAP with other SAP and Non-SAP applications with the solution landscape.
- 1 year of experience with SAP S/4 HANA On prem / Cloud upgradation and migration activities.
