Role Overview
Join a forward-thinking team as an SAP Support Consultant specializing in Materials Management (MM) and Plant Maintenance (PM). You will provide functional support for SAP S/4HANA and ECC systems, ensuring seamless operations for enterprise clients. This role is central to resolving incidents, implementing minor enhancements, and improving system performance through close collaboration with technical teams and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver functional support for SAP MM and PM modules across incident resolution, service requests, and small-scale enhancements
- Investigate, diagnose, and resolve application issues with a focus on timeliness and user satisfaction
- Interpret business requirements and configure SAP solutions that align with operational needs
- Support core MM functions such as procurement, inventory management, valuation, and logistics invoicing
- Provide expertise in PM processes including master data, work orders, notifications, maintenance planning, and preventive maintenance
- Participate in testing, documentation, and deployment of system changes
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders on issue status, resolution progress, and outcomes
- Work with technical teams on debugging, transport handling, and root cause analysis
- Maintain accurate functional documentation and knowledge base content
- Ensure all solutions follow SAP best practices and delivery standards
- Support continuous improvement and system optimization initiatives
- Participate in on-call rotations as required
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience supporting SAP MM and PM modules in ECC or S/4HANA environments
- Solid understanding of end-to-end business processes in materials management and plant maintenance
- Background in SAP application support or AMS (Application Management Services)
- Ability to analyze problems independently and propose practical solutions
- Strong communication skills with both technical teams and business users
- Experience using ticketing systems and support tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or SAP Solution Manager
- Commitment to thorough documentation and knowledge sharing
- Customer-focused mindset with a strong sense of accountability
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with integration points to FI, CO, PP, or WM/EWM modules
- SAP MM or PM certification is a plus
- Experience supporting multiple clients or industries
